On arrival the Restraunt was not open, food only available in the bar but not a major problem. Breakfast however was very poor. A corporate function took over the Restrauant and breakfast was searved in the entrance hall. No staff were given responsibility for serving breakfast. I had to visit reception twice to give my order. First wait 20 mins, second wait 10 mins. My order was taken, breakfast arrived after 20 mins, some elements warm some cool at best. Had I not been going to a funeral I would have sent it back to the kitchen. The delays did not allow me to make a complaint also with what lay before me on the day irrelavent.

The hotel was located beutifully by the sea. There was a nice pub in the hotel. The bathroom was good. You had a nice view from the hotel. The restaurant looked good, with windows to the sea, but was not open.

Breakfast was not served until 7.30. The bed was sort of worn which made you roll to the middle.

Location was fine , staff were good

Shower was impossible to use as it only gave out boiling hot water . Room was freezing and there was no spare blankets or quilts. Wall were damp and paint was falling off !!I was not impressed with the room at all and was seriously 9and still am) considering cancelling my payment .

We stayed over 1 night after attending a organized lunch before moving on to Norfolk. The Hotel has just been refurbished to good standard and the bedroom was large with a seperated living room

Room 27 had the kitchen abstractor attached to outside wall causing a consistent drone, which did not stop till 22.30.

We went to the Kingscliff hotel for a family wedding, which was performed on site. It was very convienient to have the whole ceromony, reception, an over night stay on one site.

Traditional hotel, with nice function rooms. Could do with some minor make over in rooms.

The staff were attentive and caring. The Hotel and room (Holland) were clean and well presented.

Although a tidy and clesn Hotel, our room (Holland) is in need of a little tlc, as peeling wallpaper under the windows and torn curtain tops at the rail could easily be repaired.

Very helpfull staff, nice and clean room.

We were disappionted that the restaurant closed at 4 on a Sunday and we had to travel into town to get some food.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a nice location. It is slowly being renovated and the decor is nice and modern.

In theory the hotel should be a lovely place to stay but unfortunately the owners and management are running it on skeleton staff. The few staff that were there were excellent and doing their best but when you are give too many tasks such as managing reception at the same time as running the bar and helping out with food it is impossible and I felt so sorry for them. They felt like everyone was complaining and also that they were not doing their jobs properly, which is not true, they could not have done any more than what they were trying to do. The management are spending money on refurbishments but unfortunately unless they concentrate and focus on hospitality and customer care people will not return. We had booked out the whole hotel so this is not just one view or opinion. However, we were impressed with the duty manager, Jamie he is excellent and is keeping the place afloat at the moment.

The location to my AM meeting just around the corner.

There was no hot water in the morning for a shower. There was hair on the bathroom floor, not mine. The beakfast was due to start at 7am, but not ready till 7.25am so I missed it as I went to my meeting.
